Learning Overview

At Irfan College, our philosophy is deeply entrenched in the belief that education should be holistic. We aim to create a learning environment that is interactive, engaging and individual to the needs of each student. Students are encouraged to actively participate in all areas of their learning, and to develop an understanding of their roles and responsibilities as global citizens.

Our belief in 21st century learning provides our students with many opportunities to apply knowledge and skills that will assist them in successfully navigating the world they will inherit. We encourage our students to think with purpose to achieve reflective judgements about the world around them, as they make critical decisions about their moral obligations as Australian Muslims.

Our team of highly dedicated teaching staff contribute to the growth and development of our students through quality teaching and learning programs. They enhance the academic, social and moral learning of our students through learning experiences which challenge and redefine education for our 21st century learners.

Our school offers a curriculum which is reflective and meaningful, following the NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements. It provides a framework for a good moral code, personal faith and the development of appropriate values.

Our growing school currently offers a K-12 program which is growing with our student cohort. We seek to make an outstanding impact for the good of society through our students, and by the quality of our teaching and education.
