Irfan College implements the YOU CAN DO IT! Program during our Well-being sessions. The Well-being sessions are conducted fortnightly for both Primary and Secondary students. The core purpose of this program is to develop student's social and emotional capabilities, including the five foundations: confidence (academic, social), persistence, organisation, getting along, and emotional resilience.
Central to the development of these five foundations is to instill, support and nourish in young people the 12 'Habits of the Mind', which are: accepting myself, taking risks, being independent, I Can Do It, giving effort, working tough, setting goals, planning my time, being tolerant of others, thinking first, playing by the rules, and social responsibility.
