We are at the end of semester 1! Alhamulliah year 7 have had a productive term looking at film techniques and how directors use them to send messages to audiences. Students were able to showcase their own understanding of camera shots and angles by building lego structures and creating stop motion films to tell a story. Year 7 were lucky to have a HSC student conduct a 'colour in film' workshop where they we able to take images of each other and use a colour grading app to impact the overall mood of the image. Finally, students were exposed to library services offered at Carnes Hill Library when we went for a visit and tour in week 9. Students are encouraged to go out to their local library during the holidays and apply for a library card to get in the habit of using library services.
I'm looking forward to continue our learning journey in term 3.
