What a term it has been for our lovely Kindergarten students! Our students have participated in many exciting activities and have enjoyed every moment. During our Mathematics lessons, students learned about our Australia money system and how to use the currency. They had the opportunity to use fake money and participate in our very own class shop. Throughout every week, students engaged with a shared storybook. At the end of the week, they created their own creative arts activity that reflected the storyline. One of these included making their own stick families out of sticks found from our school garden and felt material. Lastly, students ended the year with an excursion to the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium! Our Kindy students had a blast exploring the huge variety of sea creatures and their environments. This allowed them to make a real life connection to the Science topic they learn about during this year 'Living World'. It was such a great privilege teaching the kindy students this year and I hope everyone enjoys their Summer break!
